Extra's

I was an extra in the seen in Ft Worth at the train station. Was just in the right place at the right time. Im a Chiropractic student that hasnt acted since high school, but when I showed up, they choose me to be a stand in and a body double for Sean Patrick Flanery. It was a true honor working with everyone on the set and an oportunity of a liftime.

Anyway, does anyone know when the movie is comming out? I think i heard sometime in April, but i know how these things change.

I too was an extra in the Ft Worth train station scene. I appeared as a business woman in 2 scenes that hopefully will be seen since they were shot at pivotal points in the movie. I had a blast! It was worth waiting for the second night when most of the extras shooting took place for this scene. I'd love to organize a get-together for all the extras (Ft. Worth Train Station Scene)when the film is released. For all you extras out there who were shot during the Ft Worth train station scene and are interested in a "premiere party" for us, please contact me at [email protected]. You must identify what scenes you were in so I know you truly were at the shoot. This will avoid an array of unsolicited folks...etc. jsalvastion82, Congrats on your stand-in and body double shots!!!

We just finished filming yesterday. We did some pick up scenes in Dallas. At the reunion arena, City Hall, an underground trainstation on Haskell, and a goth scene in Deep Ellum. Needless to say, we all have a great time!!
Movie is now completely WRAPPED!!!!

I got paid a whopping $1.00 for my extra scene this past Sunday. Once at City Hall and another at Reunion Arena. It's really neat being around all the cameras, production people, and director. I love the atmosphere! I hope there is a Dallas premeire.

Hi. (See my other posting today.) I have digital still photos from the filming in Dallas. Saturday, March 5th, 2005. I tried to take pictures between the takes so that we could have a record of what went on that day. We start to meet at different films like "A Killer Within," "Fat Girls," "Hate Crime," "Fabian," and such: as it has been a good year to be an extra in Dallas. These roles lead to bigger and better roles, so don't feel like it was a total loss. We worked with a great director, and he tried to do more for us to make us feel at ease, and get the best out of us in each scene.
Any how, if you would like any of the pictures, let me know and I will look through the group of 80+ photos I took. It was good to be there and I hope that you found it a positive experience as a whole. write back and I will e-mail you any of the pictures you might like as a sovenier of a day filming.

I was at the Reunion, City Place (underground DART station.) and Deep Ellum

Goth scenes. I took many still pictures that are digital if you would like me

to send you some. I tried to take a wide arrangement of photos and there was some

really good characters that came out for a day of interesting fun. Yes, it did not

pay well, but some experiences are well worth the effort to do. Arturo

Ruiz-Esparza was really great to work with and he was most professional. His wife,

Debra was a producer, and one of the co-writers. It will be good to see what

happens when the final cut of the film comes out. This is my sixth film, and the

best is yet to come. Write back and let me know if you would like any of the

pictures. I was in all the scenes Saturday at Reunion arena, City Place, and at

Dallas city hall for the "comic book convention." [email protected]

Hey J. I think Arturo said that it may be May or June depending on how well the editing goes in post-production. It was a good experience and I hope that you found it positive, too.April would be good, but that is too soon as far as editing, duplication, and distribution would be concerned. I liked working with Arturo because he was concerned over the tiny details, as well as the large details. He also fed us well and treated us as if we were the principal actors, and we were just the extras in close ups and walk by's in three different scenes. We had a blast and it was a most enjoyable day and an adventure to remember.

I just signed up on this today, and found the message boards on here for the movies. I was an extra in Veritas as well, and I found the whole experience a very positive and inspiring one myself. I enjoyed myself soo much too. Especially doing the goth scene in Dallas and getting a compliment from Arturo. Seeing that smile on his face when he saw my outfit was rewarding. He was great! I hope that part stays in the movie.

Hey Eleache: I remember you well from the goth scenes, and he will keep your

scenes intact as he was most pleased with your outfit and the way you acted in

the scenes in Deep Ellum. We were doing the "subway scenes" and segways for

different scenes. We hurried back to the restaurant where we changed, and he

liked you, and commented that he had a great group to work with that day. So

it was a good day for all involved. It may be July before it comes out.

That is so awesome that all of you guys were in this movie! I was wondering if any of you guys met Arath de la Torre while filming? He is a Mexican actor who I think plays Danny in the film.
