No, this isn't even realted. BUT, I read on the official website of another movie he was in that he was going to be in All Saints Day, the sequel to the Boondock Saints. I can't wait, I absolutely looooooooveeee that movie. I just finished watching it for about the 29th time. Hehe.

reply

"All Saints Day" is the title of a movie made in 2000... :P

reply

well, i remember stumbling on it in imdb a few years back as something announced as happening... seems like it's been completely cut off the map. :(

Last time i saw it up here the Troy Duffy *Director of Boondock Saints and Norman Reedus one of the saints were having some issues and Troy was going to replace Norman but then Sean Patrick Flanery decided not to continue with it and they scratched it a couple months ago but I would love to see another one, since I only saw the first one about 5 to 10 times a month for 2 years straight and watched it again about a week ago.

reply

Listen, if everyone goes to Boondocksaints.com there is a message from Troy Duffy explaining the situation with the sequel.

The script is written and complete, both Sean and Norman are coming back and are excited.

The rights to the sequel are being tied up court so once that is completed they will get going on the film.

If you dont believe me, watch the video yourself, straight from Troy Duffy

reply

You are completely right, everything is explained in the video. There will be an all saints day, we just dont know the exact date. But im sure with all this wait for the fans this movie will kick ass. I cant wait for it.

reply

i hope that we'll see Dafoe, because without him "Boondock" will be missing something, like without Norman or Sean Patrick.

reply

i hope there ISN'T a Boondock sequel. It will totally ruin the credibility of the original. And it WILL suck. Why fix what isn't broken?

reply

I found it completely hysterical when I stumbled upon this movie that Sean Patrick Flannery's character was named Veritas when that was tattoed on his hand in saints
its rather ironic and funny

Um. The point of a sequel is to continue a story (in this case, an amazing one), not to "fix" the previous movie. Your thinking privileges are hereby revoked.

IMDB Comments. Because apparently, we let retarded people use computers.

trust me, Dafoe will not be in it... if it ever even gets made. and any other actor/film person will stay out of it if they intend on working on any other films in the future.

haven't any of you guys wondered why this great film [TBS] never got any exposure/advertising in the beginning? that is because the writer [duffy] vexed a few of the most powerful men in show business while making TBS. it can all be learned by watching this...http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390336/

reply

Well, the only thing they are waiting for is the money. When they have it they will start filming.

In Roman mythology, Veritas (meaning truth) was the goddess of truth and a daughter of Saturn.

Veritas is also the name given to the virtue of truthfulness, which was considered one of the main virtues any good Roman should have possessed. The term now appears in many University mottos; most notably, Veritas is Harvard University's motto.

In Harvard University's case Veritas is only part of the motto displayed only on the shield part of the seal. The full motto displayed on the official university seal on a diploma says "VE RI TAS CHRISTO ET ECCLESIAE" which translated from Latin to English means, "Truth for Christ and the church." This is one of the main virtues that any good Roman Christian should have possessed and any good Harvard student should possess today.

Along the same lines, Southern Methodist Unviersity, whose colors are Harvard Red and Yale Blue (to indicate the high standards of the university) holds a motto on the Seal in Dallas Hall which reads "Veritas Liberabit Vos" which loosely translates into "The Truth will set you free."
