I loved this movie!

Because I am slightly bored and after reading all the other posts here I thought to analyze some of the movie.

Some other posts mentioned the end scene where you see them both the same sex some of the time. My top pick for explaining this is that while both of them change it may not be at the same rate. So for a few moments both might be the same sex. The doctor mentioned that sex between 2 Z's is very intense, I mean freaking light came out the doors and windows, so I think that even if the change is orgasm based they will both always change. They get the lucky side effect of simultanious orgasms all the time.
If this were not true the doctor probably could have changed back having some form of sex with Luke without changing him. Though she did have her own adjenda and wasnt really that concerned about what Luke wanted. If she had her way she would have screwed Luke at the store he worked at when they first met and left him a girl right off the bat. Bitch.

Lots of little hints I love in the movie.
-Max leaves to check the stock holding a red rag when they first meet. Michelle is holding that rag when she comes around the front.
-After Luca and Michelle argue, Jannie chases her and defends Luke saying that he is different. Michelle replies, 'Yeah, we all are!'
-Tons of hints that the doctor is actutally a guy. All happy about her male cloths and wearing suit type clothes alot. 'Well your not my type either', she tells Luke at one point, becuase he isnt gay is my assumtion. Flirting with the gay bartender...okay, that was too obvious.
-Frogs are everywhere. Even the sign on his door.

The Doctor mentioned you revert when sleeping or unconcious. So who is Max/Michelle when sleeping? I think its Michelle, born a girl. How else could she have dated this Hawkins in her past. She probably fooled around with him but never went all the way for fear how he'd react when Michelle became Max. She also choose to be Michelle to flirt with Luke. Probably works as Max and goes to school and sleeps at her dorm at the college. BIGGEST clue for Michelle at birth is her comment about Max, 'Look, its just an act'. Adn pretty much every comment after that she make in the same argument.
Only one small clue makes me doubt this. Luca has highlights in her hair and so does Michelle. Maybe their girl forms keep a small hint of the previous.

They seem to skip time a bit here and there. I wonder if there are alot of cut scenes. First off its assumed that Luke 'stalked' Michelle already at college. Luke must be a College student? A later scene Michelle comes around the corner when Luca is confronting the now male doctor. As far as I can tell Michelle has never met Luca. So why they even wonder what Michelle thinks is odd. Course nothing about that situation is normal, lol.
At the end of the movie Max claims Michelle left for New York 2 days ago. Long gap between that and the bridge scene.
He supposedly would change everytime he orgasms after sleeping with the camper. There had to be a few days before the doctor showed up. Maybe Im off but I guess he didnt masturbate over that time or it already would have happened.

There is a almost blooper where Keenan bumps Jannie across the jaw when he is ravaging her, he apologizes and keeps going. Great acting recovery. You catch that one Angelunderfire?! Figure Id try to one up you since you said you saw it 30 times *grin*.

My favorite line in the movie, F you! F me now!. So hot. Id marry that actress just for that one.

Hate to over anaylze a movie that I like but its fun.

yo at the end the scene when they are waking up from sex i was like woah the she-he slept(in other words *beep* with the he-she

time is not handled very well in this movie (probably the biggest problem I had with the movie).

While it's logical and obvious that days, possibly weeks have passed by over the course of the movie, it almost appears that the movie takes place over the course of a few days.

Assuming the doctor wasn't lying about being in Savanna, she probably rushed to Oregon as fast as she possibly could. It wouldn't be completely unheard of for such a trip to take a day if you're traveling by plane for example.

Michelle was obviously born a girl due to not only her dialogue, but even how she acts when she's Max (attracted to Luke as Max, cheering for Luke at the hockey game the same way a girlfriend might, stalking Luke about hockey when he clearly has no real interest in the sport).

Aside from how the movement of time is confusing, my other issue is that when Michelle yells at Luca for trying to have sex with the Dr, Luca is completely oblivious to the fact that Michelle thinks nothing of Luca being a Z (granted at this point, we the viewers know that Michelle is a Z from the shower scene). If I were Luca I'd be more curious about why someone wouldn't think anything of the fact that I could change genders. Hell, even Luke's friends should have been freaking out like crazy at least initially to the whole Z thing.

Yeah, I think the only issue I had with this movie was the whole 'wtf' about Luca wanting to explain to Michelle as Luca.. I can imagine getting carried away, forgetting he was a girl, but I found it very obnoxious that Luca acted like everyone knew at that point, telling Max, who she wouldn't know knew about him being a Z that she, Luca, screwed up, that bothered me quite a lot, as did how many clues Michelle was throwing around while being angry at Luke/Luca, that Luca was not even picking up on! Way to paint the boy as thick, heh.
