Tony Scott's excuse for the visuals...

Was that he was aiming for the vibe of what it's like to be constantly high on cocaine, as many bounty hunters are in real-life. That actually would make a lot of sense, if it weren't for the fact that we only see them do drugs ONCE throughout the entire thing!

Honestly, I think Tony Scott just pulled this out of his ass after realizing how much he fucked up on this movie...
