i thought it was awsome i loved the way it was made it was a daring move and certinly not for all but i thought it looked great and had a style seperate from all othere films but in the vain of most of tony scotts

shareLove the cinematography,hate the storyline. When I watched the movie, I thought I was enjoying some extremely delicate MV, and its extraodinary style made me so exited.But as the movie moving on, it slowly lost its charisma, the used-to-be amazing editing doesn't stand out anymore,it stopped shining, give the way the the main plot and stopped giving the movie any extra credits.That's when the movie started to fall down cause the plot's so ordinary that nobody won't remember a thing after one day or two after seeing this. There is a weak basis to hold the movie, and that disqualify it from flying uo high. But after, it got the style, which is precious and overwhelming at the very least.So I rated it 8.But honestly, I don't love it.

shareThis movie was great. 5.9 is very low for this, Keira Knightley was HOT, the fast shake directing that a lot of people hate is cool and the movie for entertaiment, if i want to see a movie that shows me a import part of history i watch Schindler's List (one of my favorites too).

i loved it.
i just thought everything worked together well. it kinda goes all over the place and is a little confusing in the way it's written but i just thought it all worked. i liked the way it was, everything seemed interesting and entertaining to me and some people said it was hard to understand but if you really pay attention everything you need to understand it is there, you just gotta be using your head at the end of the movie and you'll get it and i just thought the way it all came together was really cool.
it was overall just a very entertaining, and in my opinion well scripted and directed movie.
i can see why some people don't like it or think it's bad but at the same time i believe it deserves a lot higher than 5.9.
it sucked bad... the story sucked and it was totaly unbelivable ( in the beliveble world )

I loved it. I actually just saw it, and I don't think I'd ever even heard of it. (the cool thing about waking up around 4a.m, slightly hungover on a couch, is that you see cool movies that aren't on during "normal" hours). I thought it was a really good story (keyword:story. It is somewhat fictionalized, although --yeah--Domino existed, was a bounty hunter. Not a Ford model, though. That part was *beep* Keira Knoghtley is HOT. And anything that Christopher Walken is in is worth at least one view. This one I'd watch again. Fun, in a "True Romance" kinda way.

When Keira says Put your F'ing weapon down! right before the titles, that got my juices flowing (if you know what I mean). Classic scene, classic line, classy lady.
If you look up and see the snakes belly. You know you've gone too low.
I understand the reaction to it, it's certainly not for everyone and it's certainly not a biopic, but for what it is, it's amazing. Richard Kelley described the narrative as a fever dream, which helps to explain the inconsistencies, sequences that were unbelieveable and the style, but it's just so much damn fun, and the scene with Monique on Jerry Springer, classic.

It was better than the rating it got here but I feel as though it could have been better. I liked the style of it though. The plot was a little ridiculous though.
I have to return some video tapes.
I think it's an entertaining movie to be enjoyed on a pure style above substance way. As for people complaining the story is not believable, I don't think it was suppose to be. It was suppose to be over the top, so plot holes are okay.

This film just happens to be the extreme version of what they say is bad Tony Scott hand cranked every other shot it was awesome.
Just seen it for the first time. I held off for a long time because of the low rating on here, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Very stylish, the way it was told was confusing to the point it felt somewhat contrived, but I can easily look past that. Great cast, great momentum and did I mention style already? I'll mention it again.
