i hated this movie

for god sake, come on guys this movie sucks, the whole story is stupid and the acting was weak, i cant believe you people that you all liked the movie; after i read all the comments i had to watch it again; i said to my self maybe i will like it this time or i will see why people enjoyed it...is there anybody agree with me

reply

I'm with you. This movie is weak at best. The only redeeming quality of this film was that it had a brief cameo with Lieutenant Jim Dangle and Deputy Travis Junior from Reno 911.

reply

I agree. Crap movie. How does this have a 7.4? I give it a 4. Acting was WEAK.

reply

I actually saw Click and this movie on the same day, and I think the one with Sandler was better.

reply

and i think you're out of your mind

reply

But some scenes really looks cheesy, especially the acting...

reply

you have to understand this is not a big hollywood movie it's an indie flick, so yes the acting was a little suspect, but the story was original and overall i though it worked.

reply

no, this was a hollywood flick trying to be edgy and indie. it was painful trying to sit through the pretentious dialog and nonsensical sophistry in the main character's book. it's pseudo-intellectual garbage.

reply

absolutely!

reply

Absolute horse dung. I had hoped that Matthew Lillard and John Cho would be able to make this movie bearable but...no such luck. Really, really bad movie.

reply

why are you all so mean? i can understand if you didn't like it, but why do you have to say that it was "crap" and "horse dung(-which, btw, is a lame put-down if you ask me)"??
i personally thought it was very good: amazing and funny, and i thought the acting was just fine.

it's alright if you don't agree with me, but you don't have to go bashing on it just because you didn't like it. just because that's what you think doesn't mean that everyone thinks that, and it also doesn't mean that it's true.

saying things like that just makes you appear ignorant.

This is a forum board. It's based on opinion. So comments like this:

"just because that's what you think doesn't mean that everyone thinks that, and it also doesn't mean that it's true" don't apply. Nobody is claiming this.

My opinion is thus: Crap movie. Horse dung indeed.

...and i will reiterate:

saying things like that just makes you appear ignorant

wow, I loved this movie. The acting was great. Patrick Fugit was perfect as the conflicted guy.

Bro, were you really expecting a truly original philosophical idea from a MOVIE which in the first couple minutes you see someone hitting a bong? If the person who wrote the movie really did have original ideas, he wouldnt have MADE A MOVIE about them, he would have written a book himself. Yes, everything said in the movie has been said before and none of it is all that original. But thats how all philosophy is. NONE of it is original. Besides, what do you expect? In order to write totally original ideas like the main character, the author would have to be JUST AS SMART as the main character.

I found the movie to be very entertaining. Yeah, the acting was bad at some points. Yeah, it was a bit over the top. But it was ENTERTAINING and thats all that matters with movies.

People on imdb really need to lighten up a bit.

sounds like cast and crew have been visting imdb

reply

i wanna see it!!

is it good?

reply

No it's not good

reply

If you like Patrick Fugit, see it. Okay, it's not "The Departed" w Leo and Matt, but at least you can believe the story. Plus, it will never win a phony Oscar for best director.

The good news is Patrick Fugit continues to show he is a good actor. I thought he played paranoid far from over-the-top with intelligence and prat- falls which are true to the script. Good job Patrick.

Director/writer Scott Lew's story is worth a mention for background. Ref www.livingwithlew.com.

reply

It's really good. Flame me all you want, but I loved it :)

reply

This one got the "only movie ever deleted from my hard drive" award and usually I'm a movie hoarder !

reply

its watchable. I partially was entertained by the protagonist. The end was a letdown. Spaceman was alright.

reply

it sucked and it was boring. only Olivia Wilde made it bearable for me.

reply

Olivia Wilde was absolutely gorgeous.

reply

The child who played Bickford is a terrible actor.

reply

I thought it was funny. Didn't get a braingasm from it though.

reply

at fist when he saw that the book was missing and he yelled i thought it was poor acting or a wrong response to what happened but overall i didn't mind the acting and i thought the movie was really funny

reply

I turned it on and got like 40 min in and had to change the channel, not only was the acting horrible it was the most pretentious thing I've ever seen.

reply

This is seriously the worst movie ever, ever, ever.. Words cant begin to describe it.. Im just breathtaken by how much this movie sucks.. omg..

reply

I agree, this was actually the first (and only thus far) movie that I rated 1/10

reply

I agree with you. Completely crap. This one deserves a zero.
