Has anyone compared this to the series Sister Wives?

I see that the series Sister Wives is coming back. I'm wondering that this show was what sparked interest in the other show forming. Both the character Bill and real life Cody have three wives and multiple children, tiny bits of envy between the wives and they face general dislike from their watchers and general population around them. Any thoughts?
