Whether Roman, Bill's grandaddy or himself, any prophet is EVIL

Or can anyone truly say that somehow Bill's granddaddy or him (he was poised to be the next prophet) were better somehow?

It's like qualifying between rapists to see which ones were the least violent and more "engaging", or to really drive the point home, whom of Hitler's successors would have been a "better" Nazi Germany Fuhrer.

It's still a cult, it's still based on the ravings/whims of a "leader", so regardless as to whom that leader happens to be (Alby, Roman, etc), it's still an institution of sin in itself.

There's a reason why the series ended with Bill's death and the wives going their own way: their escape from their prison was only possible after he was gone (especially Barb whom loved him too much to leave him and forced herself to accept such impossible situation, and Margene whom was simply along for a ride she didn't much care the particulars of).

For the love of me I will never understand what could possibly persuade a modern woman to accept a plural marriage (polygamy, not polyandry). I can see why a DUDE would go for that (heck why not? HE gets all the fun since the women will be nanning and slaving away to support the expanded family).
