Well i was bored and have been scanning for new boards

Any ideas what this film is about?

Hi Marcko!
This film is comedy\farce about Russia in early 90's. The action took place in Nizhny Novgorod (former Gorky), main heroes are 2 gangsters, that found a case with drugs and have to deliver it to their boss (Nikita Mihalkov)...but they failed. There's a lot of black humour in this film, but with Russian specific.

I think though that you'd have to be russian in order to really get absorbed into it, and understand it fully

heh, true...it's only a comedy, but you know what I meant...not exactly ''absorbed'', but you know, connect with it, understand it, be a part of it I guess.
