A realistic spy thriller

Calling this movie a "spy thriller" might seem a bit strange, because it's so different from what we usually expect from a spy thriller. But I think it's an accurate description, this movie is just a very realistic, low-key spy thriller. It's told from the point of view of an ordinary person who gets partially involved in some spy/terrorist related plot. But that plot never takes a central place in the movie, because that person has his everyday problems that are more important to him. I especially liked the female agent who contacted the main character - that agent was so ordinary, homely, like anybody's mom. I would imagine that's how intelligence agents actually look like, they are ordinary people like all of us, not the super-human killing machines that we usually see in Hollywood movies.
