The Nanny Reunion was really disappointing to me.
Here's why:
1. Daniel Davis (Niles) wasn't on the show.
2. The scene where Daniel calls Fran on her cellphone to say he's lost and so he doesn't show up for the "dinner party".
3. Being a fan of "The Nanny", I've seen all the episodes at least twice, and the reunion was mostly clips from those episodes.
4. No info on the what the cast members are doing now.
5. Fran's home movies were blurry and well...boring.
6. Very little bloopers.
7. The whole Charles and Fran "kissing" thing. What! Are they in love or something? It didn't look right.
8. Lifetime showed way too many commercials.
9. Fran's voice on the show was funny, but on the reunion it was kinda irritating.
10.Danny Bonaduce

I expected more out of it.
It's a "Nosh" not to remember.

i was wondering why danny bonaduce was on the show and i though it was just a collection of scenes from the show.. sorta like the last episode

find that one person who makes you want to live and remember them in times of doubt.

I was also pretty disappointed with this. It was too scripted (you could tell) and Daniel Davis was no there. I mean how could Niles the Butler NOT be there? The clips and the bloopers were pretty poor too. It would have been better if they had had a reunion on Oprah or something. Or, even better, if they weren't going to give us any new information on the actors they should have just made a TV movie updating the characters. It would be nice to see what Fran would be like being a mother to her biological children. And to see how Niles and CC were handling their kid too.

Those are all of thoughts exactly, it would pretty redundent for me to repeat every word, I was marking my calendar for this show and I would have to say that my first thought was they were showing too many clips of the show, I didn't want to see that. Well, better luck next time.

The show was horrible. It was all fran and charles. Hes been married for over 20 years so give it up already. At times they all seemed to be in character. Act normal ,thats what its all about. Also not seeing daniel davis was dissapointing. He did make the show, if it wasnt for him there wouldnt have been as many laughs...

Luaren lane teaches at southwest texas state as a drama coach. Go bobcats...

All i cansay is pissed off, boring reunion, one of the worst..

i watched it last night and was kinda disappointed. I agree with what everyone has said.. where was niles.. and eww why was fran and charles kissing all the time.. they were full on kissing.. WRONG! and they took off a episode of "summerland" for this crap... :(

couldve been done a hell of alot better....

but hasnt everyone gotten old... omg cc is a old women, renee taylor"ouch" shes nasty now, yettas pretty cool. but yeah thats my 5c worth

Hi,

I saw little bits and pieces of it last night, but haven't seen all of it as yet. I taped it, and will watch it today sometime. From what I did see, yes I agree with you, Lauren Lane did look much older and so did Renee Taylor. But without all that make up that they wore on the show, I guess that's why they looked that way. I haven't seen the parts where Charles and Fran were kissing alot, (don't look forward much to that), but the major disappointment would have to be Daniel Davis not being there. I thought too that the location of this reunion would've been better at the house from the show, instead of Fran's Mailbu home, but oh well, what the heck. It's just interesting to see how everyone looked then.....

Just watched the show and thought that it was a little flat. There were too many flashbacks, not enough of how they are now, and as regards to Danny Bonaduce, why was HE in the show for ? Talk about a fish out of water !!!
I didn't think that there was that much kissing with Charles and Fran, but again not having Daniel Davis there was a real disappointment. I think I would give the show a 4 out of 10, and that's being kind....

Well, you are very welcome. I'm really sorry that you missed the show, but they might put it on again one day. Maybe pay TV might air it one day soon. Some of them looked much older now than they were in the show, but as I said before, that's probably due to lack of make up. You didn't really miss that much though, but I can understand why you would still like to see it. Take care...:)

It wasn't that bad. It was good, but I wished there were more outtakes! And Niles wasn't there either!

Many thanks for replying to my post. Yes, that was the sad part I think, that Niles wasn't on the show. I think that he MADE the actual show what it is. What do you think ?? Take care..
