Daniel Davis Update??

Daniel Davis (Niles) was the only one missing from the original cast. Does anyone have an update. Seems he did a Frasier in 2002 and was nominated for a Tony in 2000. But no one even mentioned his current status on the reunion which was disappointing. Of course the whole reunion was such a mish mash between fiction and reality (ummm...but was that by Ms. Dreshers' design?) Not quite sure it worked they way she thought it would. Anyway-- the original show was great--and it was still wonderful to see ALMOST everyone together one more time!

Daniel Davis was working at Lincoln Center in New York City at the time of the reunion. Why didn't they just wait until he was available? Now he is doing La Cage aux Folles on Broadway. I saw him and he is fabulous.

Phew for a minute there I thought he passed away and I got so upset. Glad to hear he's still alive and working!! I love the Nanny but I don't see why they couldn't have waited for Daniel - he was so great as Niles

he made the show - if he wasnt in it i dont think id have watched it yet alone become a fan

I didn't see this reunion show but if Daniel Davis wasn't available to be in it, I'm surprised they didn't film him and plug it in, like they were talking to him on a video phone or something. I mean come on, no Niles?
