Did anyone notice? *spoilers*
That when Forest went to the school to research Jeremys character, that the photo in the file was actually him? I thought that was so cute :)

If someone looked away and missed that photo, then they missed an important piece of the movie. That was when forrest learned who the guy really was. The photo picked had to look like jeremy, for us to know the significance there.
What was odd was the behavior of the lady, when she learned forrest was lying about his identity. Instead of being sarcastic to welcome him back - and then opening the file for his viewing, in order for him and the audience to see that photo too - she should have shielded that file from a confirmed liar who shouldn't be allowed to see any of that private info
(that she was responsible to protect). She said as much too, before asking forrest who he was. Then she showed him anyway, to reward him for lying.

Was it just slopping writing, or do you think it was done to perhaps make the idea that he was a pain in the ass as a kid? If that was the case, a line would have helped with that otherwise it just looks weak.
