Really enjoyed this Documentary******** *

I have to say, I have NO STAKE in this documentary, and I WAS in attendance at the Tribeca Film Center for the screening in late December, and as I said in the review, I was pleasantly surprised. That's high praise when you consider I am NOT a Gill-Man fanatic, but as I said, rather a Genre fan in regards to both Sci-Fi and Horror.

From seeing the reaction of all the people there that night, and from reading the other posts and the reviews provided in the links, it looks as if sea biscuit probably has some kind of other agenda. Again, I was there that night and actually got to meet two of the filmmakers in person and they were both very professional and cordial. I also met people from several major cable networks and production companies and somehow I seriously doubt they are all in cahoots with the producers.

It's sad when someone has to bring a personal grudge into a really useful forum like this. It's apparent that seabiscuit doesn't truly want to discuss the merits of this movie, but rather he wants to try and discredit some hardworking filmmakers. Well, to me the proof is in the pudding, and the fact that they not only got this film funded, but got several major names involved, and have received pretty much glowing reviews speaks for itself.

To the filmmakers, I would advise, just take his comments with a grain of salt. Consider the source. I suppose by writing this I am now opening myself up to seabiscuit's abuse, but it doesn't bother me, because my eyes are wide open. In this world there are doers and there are negative people who don't achieve, and seabiscuit appears to be the latter. It's a shame that he needs to bash other's accomplishments in order to build up his own esteem.

Anyway, that's my two-cents worth.
