I know I'm not alone when I say "shouldn't there be a Bloodrayne 3?" I mean how could there not be?! They left the story wide open for another installment and the popularity of the game can't be argued. I know Majesco isn't doing so well financially but don't you think they would make a grip if a third game came out? Either that or at least sell the licensing to someone. I'm sure a great company (who won't ruin the franchise) would pick it up after the success of the first two games. So far I haven't heard anything other than the PSP version was canceled. Which by the way would've been a horrible idea since the PSP isn't even a console. But I guess Majesco was kind of desperate and needed something out. Still think it was better to have been cancelled. Well what does everyone else think?
At one point there was talk of a third Bloodrayne game (supposedly to go along with Uwe Boll's film), but I don't think it ever went beyond the planning stage.

There was a developer comment posted on the Bloodrayne.net forum a while ago that pretty much indicated that there’s little to no hope of a BR3. : ( For now I recommend getting Aeon Flux, it’s built using the BR2 engine and while it’s not nearly as well fleshed out it’s still quite enjoyable.
I heard that the game was complete crap. I could pick it up brand-new at Wal-Mart for $15, although I'm thinking about getting Advent Rising (which is also $15) instead.

ok all you people so crap like "THE GAME ROX!!!" and "P_E_R_F_E_C_T" but then say the movie sux? LOLOL buncha motha f*$*$*# hipocrits. Me? i love both games, the movie, and will probly love the second movie
I have been a fan of BloodRayne since the previous game was first released, and that love quadrupled upon the release of the second one. That being said, I can honestly say that Rayne is pretty much my favorite video game character. I was stoked to hear about the production and release of the BloodRayne movie when I first heard about it through the trailer included in the second game (not aware of who Uwe Boll was at the time). Well after watching it in the theatres, and after giving a second chance again just recently, I stand by the fact that I still absolutely adore the games, yett I really don’t care for the movie. Too much was changed in my opinion.
I really don’t see that as hypocrisy,… but if it is… oh well
As for the Original topic, the ending of BloodRayne 2 was too much of a cliffhanger for me to just leave it at that. Unfortunately, the game is not as well known as I hoped it would be. I really hope someone, somewhere does pick up the licensing and provide the character and storyline justice...hopefully in the near future.

Loo loo loo... I got some apples...loo loo loo...you got some too...
I wouldn't mind them using kristana but the voice may kill it since I'm use to the other lady, every game has a knew peson for the body so that aspect doesn't matter.
I know she looks the same, but a new model is used each time. Ther voice actress wad definitely great, though I believe Kristana Loken could also do a good job given the opportunity. I also happen to like her voice except she definitely has an accent
veni, vidi, vici(I Came, I Saw,I Conquered) I came, I saw, and thats about it. sounds more like it
Kristana Loken as the voice in BR3 could be enough to dissuade me from buying it. Laura Bailey is Rayne, her growl is perfect. If she opened her mouth and any one other then Bailey came out it’d be so disappointing.
If there was a BR3 though I’d rather it be set between the 1930’s and 2000’s. I know they’ve got big ideas but that whole post apocalyptic, vampire cult war synopsis didn’t really appeal to me personally.
She has a growl in her voice. It’s a way of describing someone talking in a low pitch. Jonell Elliot has the same sport of style. The only fantasy I have about Rayne is a third game coming out.
But Rayne has an established identity. She’s not just red hair and two blades, Bailey has breathed soul into the character. If you put another woman in charge of voicing Rayne she becomes someone else. I know that sounds extreme but I’ve seen it happen time and again.
What is the closest game that you can compare Bloodrayne to? I haven't been thinking about buying the two games, but it got mediocre Reviews. I like the story of the movie, although I know its different from the games, and I am kinda looking for something to play for now since my Xbox 360 is dead and has to be repaired. Thanks.
Good Cop and Bad Cop left for the day. I'm a different kind of cop.
Prince of Persia probably comes closest in that he also has a lot of gravity defying skills and can alter time. I’ve never met a BloodRayne fan that didn’t like Tomb Raider. And the newest TR games (made by Crystal Dynamics) totally rip-off a lot of Rayne’s moves.
If you like your game short and easy. Taking the most popular ideas from recent games and bundling them up into something mass marketable but lacking any substance. If you’d rather play a game that gives you a real sense of accomplishment at the end play the first 5.
That man is a head taller than me. That may change.
3 hours, god that’s ridiculous. I mean I feel 10 hours teeters on the line of unacceptable. Especially when you have games like Okami that are 40+ hours.

Agreed...they should make a third one...have it out for the PS3, and XBOX360...and maybe PS2...and PC...if and when a third installment is made...I'll think about getting back into the gaming world.
It was a lie when they smiled and said you won't feel a thing...
Uwe Boll getting license to direct a third movie is a pretty clear indicator that Majesco doesn't have much faith in the future of it's franchise, so is simply whoring it out for whatever it can get.
I give up on them; how about a mod based on the UT3 engine?
