Star Wars: Jedi Knight reference?

I was watching my friend play this game today, and he was fighting against someone who looked an awful lot like Jerec from Star Wars: Jedi Knight. I don't know what the name of the character is, but does anyone agree with me? You have to fight him right before the cutscene where they test out "the Shroud".

If you are referring to the guy dressed in red and black, that is a male Dhampir, there are female Dhampirs in red and black also, and then there are the Kestrals, who are also Dhampir.
