radeon 7500 help (maybe)

hey yall! i've got a radeon 7500, which is not supported by the game, but it sooo almost works! i can see myself, my enemies, and the movies, but only part of the general surroundings. i could play like this, but i might not see items that i need to pick up. it didn't work at all until i updated my ati driver, so i'm wondering if i update/download something else, will it work better? or should i buckle and buy a new video card? any help is appreciated, thanx!
