Perrin/Malone-Brown

I know that this has probably been discussed to death on this board, but Abasi/Jamele is RACIST AS HELL!!!

He is as close minded as some of the "white folk" that he rails against.

BTW...I missed the last 20 or so minutes. How was the $$$ distributed? I'm curious to see what the "God Warrior" did this time! Thanks in advance.

she gave the family money to buy a piano for the daughter to practice

she gave the husband enough money to buy a Aretha franklin cd greatest hits so he can listen to the song RESPECT

and then she gave the rest 48,000 + to the daughter when she is 18.

The family was mad

I think it was funny and great.

haha I loved her in that episode. It made me proud to say we're from the same town. props to her for doing what she did. I would have done the same thing.

abasi was so horrible, and he even insulted his friends by his actions. i felt the wives were fine this time around.

I talked to the angels, they can't make it out tonight<3

Abasi was an *beep* everything he said was about Race. I swear a lot of people don't even care about race anymore, but people like Abasi wanna turn everything into a race issue. He doesn't see people. He sees black and white only.

As a black man, I think Abasi was a disgrace.

It's one thing to be proud to be black, it's another to lack common decency.

When she asked where's the butter, he wouldn't tell her. When he tried to bring him his juice jug, he wouldn't take it. He hit her over the head with his point of view and didn't show any respect. Even his friends said he was wrong.

I know they watched this and he had to feel like an idiot when she gave the money to the daughter when she turns 18.

I know the wife was upset because Abasi basically blew the money. Perrin actually tried to be civil to him and he felt being black meant being uncivil and he used the excuse that he was being prejiduce for black people. That's just an excuse to explain to himself why he lives in a shack and he struggles to make ends meet.

It's easy to blame other people for your failures, because then you can give yourself a pass for your bad decisions.

i said the exact thing when i was watching it. i know people who are proud about who they are and where they come from, but they are still compassionate and wonderful people. his wife, who felt the same as him about race (i got that from when she introduced herself at least) was so polite and nice in the other home.

Is this episode online anywhere? I just saw the first "God Warrior" episode with her and dang!!!!! It sounds like she's more mellow in this one.

It came on today. I saw it for the first time and thought that guy was an ass! I have experienced racism and I don't hate caucasians like him. He was just a racist idiot who forced his rants on her the minute she got into his car. Perrin was the good guy in this one.

Yes.

And for the record, Abasi may have been a jerk to her but what comes around goes around and she treated the D'Amico-Flisher family really bad.

After spending a week with them, maybe she should have listened to Aretha Franklin's, "RESPECT" herself!

Here's to those who wish me well...
