Very sad indeed. My heart goes out to that little girl, and her family.

reply

Yeah she did. I remember it. I actually live in the same town as them. Ponchatoula, LA. I don't know them personally or anything, but the local paper did a whole article on her and everything.

reply

OMG, that is horrible. I feel so bad for her daughter. Its crazy that I just saw that episode a couple of months ago. They do didn't do an R.I.P. or anything; considering that it will be going on two years soon.

Yeah, I got the tramp-stamp...so what??

reply

I guess she must've finally gotten off the couch then eh?

I don't get it. I must be missing something here. You still haven't explained why it is sad.

reply

because its sad when people die!!

reply

No it isn't, thats nature. It might be sad for a person if they know the individual and even then it is often dependant on if the person that died seemed like they deserved or had earned the sorrow. The fat daughter off of that particular trading spouses seemed to make her younger sister feel like a dog, and she doesn't deserve the sorrow that you people are giving her.

reply

I agree, she was a bitch. Why should anyone feel sorry for someone who treats someone else like complete *beep*

reply

I just checked to see who keeps telling me it is sad when people die and it turns out they're 13 and like the Jonas brothers. You don't really think they're virgins do you? Also I still want someone to explain to me why it is sad to you when someone you don't know at all died.

reply

It is sad because anyone can relate to a person's death, you don't have to personally know them. For example, if somebody's mother died you would feel sad for that person because you know exactly how you would feel if it was your own mother that died. So you understand what the child is going through and what they must feel.
I can't believe you need someone to explain to you why death is a sad thing. And you shouldn't make fun of a 13 yr old because that kid has more of a heart than you do. But since death is part of nature and life I expect you won't be shedding any tears when someone you care about dies. Or any sympathy from others for that matter because apparently they didn't know the person and therefore aren't entitled to feel sadness......not even for you.

Now if you're saying we shouldn't feel sad for the death of this woman in particular because of how mean she was, then whatever..I won't judge you for that. Personally I never feel bad when animal abusers die, in fact I hope that they died very painfully so they know what their victims felt.

reply

I expect a lot of children have larger hearts than I do, they haven't been around long enough. As for animal abusers, well it is funny when they die isn't it?

I'm not sure what you're saying. Could you try that again?

reply

Just like strangers dont know her enough to feel sorrow for her (now that shes dead) you dont know her enough to know that she doesn't deserve sorrow...

I agree with TheRealDeal19. It's commonly known that reality TV overacts everything in the cutting room. You can't judge a person's personality based on 2 episodes of a 'reality' show. The camera has a certain perspective, and a person has more sides. Even if Ashley was truly a b#tch whose lived revolved around spreading hate, it doesn't mean she deserves no sympathy. Or do you simply give up on people and denounce them when they're less than perfect? DukeNukeAss 'blames' everyone for being naive, as if that's a bad thing, while his/her bitterness isn't all that, either.

reply

I cried when Jack Wild died, and I didn't know him...however I've been a fan of his since I was 5 (I was 23 when he died).

I never saw the Perrin's episode in its entirety (just the last part...scary), but it's always sad when an innocent person dies.

I think it's sad that someone craving attention comes here to ask why someone else is sad because they themselves have no empathy. And its sad that I'm commenting on how pathetic they are. Oh well.

I know this is a very old post - and this is off topic - but since you mentioned you live in Ponchatoula did you know this couple named Frank and Angel? Frank lived there for maybe a year or two , then moved back to Portland, Oregon where he was originally from and was murdered by a roommate who bashed his skull in with a pick axe.
