Lambe-Levy/Ferrell

That woman, Janet is the rudest person I have seen in a LONG time! She is crazy, too. She offends people left and right but really thinks that people like her. This woman is nuts...

I think that she is on some kind of drugs too. She just now saw a ghost or something while she was creeping around the house before she went to bed.

I was reading some articles written by Marybeth Lambe about adoption and discovered that she is a physician.... (like her husband)

I think Janet has some kind of personality disorder or mental illness. She was dealing with a completely different reality than everyone else. She really believed that the children loved her, that she threw a great party, and that she would be missed when she left. Unfortunately, people like her can only get better if they accept the fact that they need help. Medication and psychotherapy could help her if she took it seriously and understood the impact her actions have on those around her. I was happy to see that Brian connected with Marybeth and said he'd keep in touch after the show. Those kids need someone like Marybeth in their lives. I hope they can keep themselves going until they're old enough to move out and that Janet's mental illness doesn't damage them for life.

Marybeth seemed like a wonderful mother. I felt sorry that she missed her daughter's soccer game when Emma made the first goal of the game. The love in her family is something really special- the way the kids got along (how many siblings get along that well? It was great to watch them behaving so well and being nice to each other), the love the parents had for eachother (great to see a happy, healthy marriage on TV these days). What a great family!

Gatorade_Girl_82, I completely agree with all your sentiments. Janet didn't understand that the children wanted her to leave them alone and that her family didn't really welcome her back with open arms. She wanted them to cry for goodness sakes! She admitted that she didn't cook the Levy family breakfast at all and had them cook for HER. How do you even admit that? She seemed proud that she didn't do anything for them. It made me so confused. Even her own family admitted that having Marybeth over was nice for them because she actually tried to connect with them; she cooked them breakfast and made homemade pizza and muffins. She even connected with Brian! It was amazing how Janet so misunderstood her own son, not to mention her arguing with her daughter and her other son at the end of the show. Brian is very talented and I think he should go into the tattooing industry. His sketches are unique and beautiful and he's quite handsome himself. I truly hope he did keep in contact with Marybeth. The two of them seemed to get along so well.

Marybeth treated her children with respect and had fun with them. She kept her family together and that is why they wanted her back and welcomed her. Janet's family didn't do that and I think she could've learned that from Marybeth.

They're showing this episode again just now. I had never seen this one.
It's amazing to me that Janet thinks the party was wonderful or that the new family will miss her. She must really think she has a wonder affect (sp?) on people.
