Was it known to Epitome pictures that season 4 would be the last?

I know the show was originally supposed to have 5 seasons.

I just watched the final episode, it feels like they just quickly wrote Jude choosing to go to London alone.
The episode was poorly written, for a series finale.

I can't tell if the show ended up like Moesha - Canceled after last episode filmed

or if it was some crappy rush job

It wasn't written with the intention of being the series finale, just a season finale. They didn't know it was cancelled until after they were done filming.

it's like the show feels complete with her going to london without Tommy

Then it's incomplete without her life in London

so It was kinda hard to tell
