Cancellation still makes me sad...

I loved this show so much. It's better than Degrassi. It's funny, because most people only like Degrassi as a guilty pleasure because it's so over the top and issue-of-the-week. Instant Star, however, is a genuinely well-written, entertaining, passionate and funny show. Probably one of my favorite shows of all time. I'm so bummed that it was cancelled.

All the programming changes The N made (canceling wonderful shows like Instant Star, no longer showing old Nickelodeon classics like Pete & Pete, etc) made the channel suck. And now that it's Teen Nick, its downright awful. Every single one of its shows (Degrassi being the only exception I know of) also airs on Nickelodeon and its other channels. This channel is not geared to teens--it's geared to tweens.

But I digress. I really wish there was a way to bring this show back. It was brilliant. I've signed a couple petitions, but I'm willing to sign more if needed. If anyone knows what can be done to *possibly* help bring the show back, let me know!
