it didnt show it in the movie since neither of the "kings" were pure men or not a child but i think in a festival where the "king" didnt have female parts, the oracle, or the priestess son, they would castrate him. i cant be positive but it does make seance.
probably didnt wanna show a guy getting his parts cut off in a movie either.. ratings and all.
