bad acting, ugly people

I've never found Leelee Sobieski pretty nor a good actrees, and in this miniseries I've confirmed that: her make up is beyond ugly, she looks like a character from house of wax, her acting sucked and she looked fat (she's supposed to be a nymph) did she have a baby or something?
Elizabeth Perkins is usually a fine actrees, but trying to keep a neutral accent in this series made her lose her quality... what was it? British? "Greeklish"?
Sean Bean keeps reminiding me of a hobbit, but that's not his fault, he did Ok.
And Timothy DAlton... Timothy, Timothy, Timothy... an aweful 007 and sucked both as Marc Anthony and Julius Caesar in two diferent movies.... please keep making films like "Looney Toons: back in action" or "the beautician and the beast", that way I don't run into you every time I watch something I think it would be googd and find you making it all wrong

Sean Bean is a great actor who wasn't in this (Though, he too was in LOTR). You are reffering Sean Astin.

oh get a life. the world doesn't revolve around beautiful people. if you're dissing it becuase of the bad acting, bad directing and crap storyline, fine, but you're dissing it foully due to "unattractive" people? that's just shallow.

this show wasn't good, it's not award winning material, but it was just funny to watch. notice i said "funny" though, cuz that's what i found it. everything looked so roman...but if you're saying this show sucked becuase ppl were UGLY (which they're not, with the exception of perhaps leelee sobieski's overdone bronzeness and eye makeup) then that's just stupid.

and sean astin, by the way, is a great actor. it's just that if you're judging him by his role in this film then you've picked the wrong thing. bloody studio directors simply don't know a good thing when they see one.

Call me weird but I actually liked leelee sobieski's makeup although sometimes she did look more bronzy, and I think she is pretty and defiantly not fat!

I have no idea why they chose Leelee I agree she was not attractive in the least and was even more unattractive next to Paul. I think her face looked fat not the rest of her though.

About LeeLee: She's ethnic, so she's got different features than people would expect. Her cheeks will always look a little puffy, but thank god for that: what would the world be without some variation from "The Hollywood Standard".

I was in this movie as a gay nobleman, Sigh!! She is certainly not ugly or even plain. Get your eyes tested

LeeLee is not pretty but a pretty good actress.

I agree totally apart from your Sean Bean error!! Dalton is an appalling actor and I have never seen him do anything well.
Just an altogether dreadful production.
