I cant believe they were allowed to show this on tv! It totally screwed up the tale of Hercules. Everything in this movie is different from the actual tale! For one, he killed Megara when he killed his 3 sons(who were not triplets), Deienara was not a nymph, there was no Linus at all, the mares were not really girls who served Hera they were just horses, and a thousand other things. I studied mythology and I just cannot believe that the people who made this movie would make something as ridiculous as this. It may have been entertaining to some people but to me it was just terrible. (Yep I have it out of my system now)

What is your source for the authorative story of the Hercules myth? Even the ancients disagreed on the details.

So what? The story of Hercules is just that...a story. If someone wants to tell the story differently what's the big deal. We're not dealing in facts here. None of the things in the story or any of the movies actually happened.
