The name Pierric

Is that a very common name? Because this series was the first time I heard of it.

Pierric is a French first name coming from Pierre (Peter). It's from Brittany as are all the first names ending in "ic" (Loïc, Geric, even Eric etc...). It's not very common but it is still used, especially, as I said, in Brittany. It's not uncommon at all and not out of fashion:)

Thanks for the explanation. I've heard of the names that end in "-ic" before but not that often and I didn't know that it was common in Bretagne.
