How was Samia sure that the prisoner was 'Veer Pratap Singh' ?

Hi,

I have seen the movie multiple times, and I always wonder how the lawyer Samia was so sure that SRK was Veer.

Was it just her instinct? In that case she was risking going against her country.

Any comments would be welcome.

She had been given the case because everyone deemed it to be "hopeless." Before going in to talk to him, she had obviously done some research on the case, and knew that SRK had been shown to have two passports. The Indian passport identifies him as Veer.

i also wondered how did she know about "Veer" from even before she met him...
and in 22 years, no-one picked it up...

they picked it up, but they thought that of course a spy would have two passports. one real and one fake (just in case)
