This movie is soooo excellent!! I just saw it for the first time last night. I love all of it. I will be buying and giving copies to American friends and family to show them an example of a wonderful Bollywood movie...
I am so greatful to all on imdb, with sharing your thoughts and opinions @ movies, since I can't find places to rent these movies, I buy them in order to see them.... Thanks everyone..

shareone of the most pathetic movies of all time .... absolute wastage of 3 hours and money too ... and trust me i am very very considerate toward all movies whether good ro bad.... but this ones beyond my patience and ability to view a movie with an openness of mind...anybody who is reading this ... i suggest BE WARE .. manibhaai...I disagree, the movie was a very good love story. Even though Bollywood has a monopoly for the better love stories, it's one of the better bollywood love stories. There are bound to be some mistakes here and there, but, a very enjoyable movie, notably the first half of Veer and Zaara's scenes, AB-SRK scenes, the courtroom scenes and the picturisation of the song "Aaya tere dar par deewana"...SRK was actually really good as Veer. Preity was good too. Actually, now that I think about it, the entire cast did a really good job.
So, no offence to you AT ALL, but, I really loved this movie! :)

Yash Chopra made this film from his heart, it was his one of the dream projects.Every actors did divine job but these people will never understand

and you´re right. Dhoom 1 or 2 would be a terrible choice for a first time bollywood movie! :-) although they´re very funny!
also not good for "bollywood beginners": main hoon na or koi gil gaya or krish
btw, main hoon na has the best (as in hilarious) fight scene ever! :-)))
