I hate it when they trash classic cars in movies

Watching that beautiful black Ford Bronco get wrecked...that was the hardest part of the movie to watch. Damn shame.

I thought some rare cars were usually made to be destroyed just for the movies.

I have often wondered the same re classic cars too

reply

They generally have several models to stand in for 'one' car.

The one that gets destroyed is usually an empty shell (with a bit of set dressing). With clever editing, it looks like they destroyed the original.

I feel you - those beautiful cars getting the sh it smashed out of them, when I would give them such a loving home. It tugs at my heart strings more than any charity advert on TV!

reply

Same
I see fewer of the old beauties every year...grew up with mustangs and novas and firebirds...my buddy had a an el camino...all was right in the world
Now every car looks like a round lump on wheels...you cant even work on the damn things in your yard anymore
