Good movie

I have not read the book yet but I really enjoyed the movie. It is an imaginative story and really reminds me of a good old fashioned fairy tale. I think it was a little too "busy" as far as subplots but it actually works.

Now, a lot of people are complaining about the kitchen genie but I think it works. It shows that there are a lot of mysterious things in the world and we have only scratched the surface. The cook stumbled upon something marvelous and magical and, instead of being skeptical and scientific, he embraced it as a friend.

Overall a very good movie that I will be sure to watch again and again.
