How can a viewer root for the girl? She was obnoxious, repulsive in every scene. She was absolutely in the wrong in treating Crieg like that. He didn't owe her an apology, she did. He did nothing wrong.
She acted like a total jerk in each scene of hers.

Maybe I've been seeing too many japanese women in TV shows and movies lately, but the contrast is like ton of bricks being dropped right next to you suddenly. It's jarring and scary to think that someone thinks THAT is the kind of woman men should go for.
