DVD Directors Commentary?

I've seen some messages mentioning a director's commentary and other special features, including "making of" on the DVD. Well, I guess that I have the US version of the DVD, and it does not have any special features at all. I am actually very dissappointed about that. I would be very interested in seeing these special features.

My question is, does anyone know of a way for me to see these special features (in english) without me having to drop 30 bucks to import an international version of a movie I already have?

hi. yeah, there are a lot of special features on the german dvd, commentaries, making of, behind the scenes, interviews - in german language for sure. and i'm pretty sure that there are no english-language versions of those features at all - and unfortunately there are no english subtitles on the dvd.
so i'm sorry - but i don't think that there's a way for you to see the features in english.

Haha, I'm sorry. This is probably really annoying. Particularly the director and the main actor, or really anything interesting that stood out in your mind. I'm a big fan of director and actor commentaries, and other "making of" featurettes. Usually, when I like a movie, I'll watch it again immediately afterwards with the director's commentary. I was really upset that this version didn't have anything on it. I was also PISSED when I bought The Village and it didn't have a director's commentary on it, either. :)
