Great movie for fans of A Prairie Home Companion

I'm not a big fan of the Prairie Home Companion radio show. It's some kind of commentary on the morals and ideals of those who grew up in the East Coast earlier in the 20th century with a old time radio theme. That's my best guess anyway.

For those who grew up old time radio, many came to have a great fondness for the shows and format. Remember, that was all people had for 30 years and some radio shows hung on with the same cast for over 20 years. The era of old time radio only ended in 1963

PHC as a movie has lots of great stars and is Robert Altman's last film, so I watched it. The big cast of stars makes it interesting and the songs are okay but the radio show remains out of reach.
