Did I dream the rope tricks?

One reason (of many) that I bought the DVD was to see Dusty and Lefty doing rope tricks again, something I am sure I remember from watching the film in a theatre when it first came out, and my wife backs me up. We've watched every second on that disk twice, including the Extras, and there are definitely no rope tricks.

Since then I've searched the net and found no mention of it. Were we having a mass halucination, or was this scene redacted due to the possibility of terrorists learning how to lasso a 747? (Please don't flame me if you think that two people aren't a mass, unless you have a better term for it.)

Chaos: not just a theory any more

Well, I can’t say whether you did or didn’t, but you may have gotten some really good popcorn in the theatre.

Now that I think of it though I do have a vague recollection myself about rope tricks but … just a minute – this might be it here, at http://books.google.com/books?id=R01yIobKQCYC&pg=PT159&lpg=PT1 59&dq=dusty+and+lefty+flaming+lariats&source=bl&ots=3WmSuN l9ne&sig=Ip8QE3gFJW5iLGvPULdPM0lONdI&hl=en&sa=X&ei=dmc 2U4mPN4j4rAGx9IC4Dw&ved=0CCcQ6AEwAA#v=onepage&q=dusty%20and%20 lefty%20flaming%20lariats&f=true

Near the end of the film, the boys mention they heard the old gang was getting up a tour.

LEFTY: We’ve added rope tricks to the repertoire.
DUSTY: Flaming lariats.

This occurs as part of the diner scene if I remember correctly. There was a lot going on in there though, so I can see how it might get lost.

Shortly afterward, Lois/Asphodel walks into Mickey’s, and they all seem to see her.

But aye, it’s literally a two-liner, which had totally slipped my mind until you asked!

Just watched it again, and during performance of the ending credits song, Lefty does a quick rope trick. But that's it.

I think I recall seeing it in the extras on the DVD, so it may have played through the credits at the end of the movie in the theater. ?
