If you liked this movie, see 13 Conversations About One Thing. Its much better and its the same type of story.

I saw it. It's good, but I don't think it's a better movie than Nine Lives.

"Welcome to Hollywood, Peter!"

I was thinking the same thing. Magnolia meets 13 Conversations meet Elephant.

13 CONVERSATIONS ABOUT ONE THING, MAGNOLIA, NINE LIVES, CRASH, SHORT CUTS, NASHVILLE, BOOGIE NIGHTS (sort of), A WEDDING, and many others (largely directed by Robert Altman) are all GREAT FILMS!

Crash is not a great film. It is mediocre at best.

I like these type of ensemble movie, but somehow I had never heard of Thirteen Conversations About One Thing. Thanks for letting me know.
