school for scoundrals

did anyone else think that mr. woodcock had a few simalarities to school for scoundrals? and im not just talking about billy bob being in both movies. his characters were both gruff, crude people. then there was the jon heder/ seann william scott character simerlarities. they were both a bit shy and give in to easily but they change throughout the movie. then theres the scenes of one upmanship. and so on....
