filmed in New Orleans

I did not realize this movie was film in New Orleans until I watched it.

The high school scenes were filmed at Holy Cross High School in the 9th Ward of New Orleans. I went to school there and the school was flooded during Hurricane Katrina. The school was rebuilt in Gentilly and the 9th ward campus was turned down except for one building built in the 1800s.

I also notice a lot of the track scenes was film at New Orleans City Park in Mid-City of New Orleans.
