In that scene towards the beginning Cena's wearing a camo hat and pants. Isn't that Army gear? Especially the hat. Maybe I'm wrong, I don't know much about the armed services, but that looked like an Army hat. Anyone know the facts? And if it is, do you think it's a mistake, or on purpose?

The Marine 8 point cover fits just like an Army cover but looks much better. And Army covers don't come into any Marine Corps PX in the world seening how the 8 point cover is a mandatory part of the MARPAT uniform as well as the old cammies. The third and perhaps the most essential FACT, and yes it is a fact, Is that Marines never take anyone elses *beep* its the other way around, other branches want to be like Marines, the Army, Navy, airfirce, and even USCG. Ww know were hot *beep* were the smallest branch of the military and were a department of the Navy but were the best at what we do. Were the only branch of service with a comprehensive MANDATORY martial arts program(MCMAP) that has to be learned by every Marine, If we wanna leave the Corps and join another service, we skip their bootcamp and retain our rank, If they want to come into the Marine Corps however, they have to go through our bootcamp and start from scratch. Other branches see that were the best. In fact the only reason they made this corny ass Cena character a Marine is because WWE knows how badass the Marine Corps really is.

I was in the United States Marine Corps for six years and at NO time would any Marine wear an "Army Hat." The Marine "cover" is a standard part of the uniform. Covers are not worn for their comfort.

it was another one of the countless errors of the movie. and not Marines dont wear army hats b/c "they're more comfortable" We have strict uniform guidelines and wearing anything other than Marine Corps gear (especially army) is prohibited. In the field, the most comfortable cover is the floppy boonie cover.
