Not sure whether I understood quite what happened. It seemed like he withdraw all of his money from his bank account, then he went and bought a video camera. The last scene before we see him reading the manual of a new camera seemed to show the salesman discussing an almost €5,000 camera. Did Loic buy that one?
Watching that, I had this sinking feeling in my stomach that he had just wiped out his savings and thrown it all away on a camera that was just too expensive and not at all necessary for what he needed.
