Well made, but the tone of the movie was all wrong.

The movie was well made, it's based on a true story so u can't complain much about the writing, the acting was good, everyone did a good job, but the only reason I would tell anyone to watch this is to see how messed up the system is... So maybe that should have been the tone of the movie. Instead the tone of the movie made us happy that the mob got away with killing and extorting people! The message should have been how screwed up that is. At the end a bunch of people rush the court house to high five the jury for finding them not guilty, but where were the victims screaming and crying for the people they've lost? Why didn't the text at the end say something like "When interviewed the jurors all stated they feared for their life." There are so many movies that glorify the mafia lifestyle that it looks like we are forgetting that they kill people, traffic guns and drugs, and strong-arm businesses. I think this movie shows just how scary our delusion is becoming.

Absolutely! In fact if they'd shown some victims' families at the end, after we'd all decided how cute and cuddly the gangsters all were, that might have made a truly great film. Enough of this *beep* about them being 'wise guys' or glorifying people for not ratting out...
