The Ending (spoilers)

I just watched this film.. it wasn't very good, thankfully I didn't pay for it.. but I was wondering why people think Jenny died at the end? I've been reading posts and most of them include Jenny in the body count in the end.. all we see is a hand grab her shoulder, which I guess could mean it was Furlong, but she's in a lift with tons of other people.. you'd think somebody would stop him if he tried to kill her.

PS- What was the point of the reporter scene at the end? And how the hell did Furlong get their cell numbers?

The hand that grabs her shoulder at the end has the pinky finger missing.

I think it was a transmission inside the house setup by Furlong and they were close enough to get the text message.

Well, unless Philip dragged her from the cable car after it arrived at the destination (it was moving, right?)...
It was a CROWDED cable car, Philip couldn't have murdered her right then and there

There is no possible explanation for the ending. It makes no sense... she's in a public place with dozens of people around her, so the audience is supposed to be horrified when some mystery bad guy puts his hand on her shoulder??? But why are people trying to figure out the end? Let's face facts.... this was an incredibly bad film written by some incredibly untalented writers, and the illogical, dumb, and meaningless ending is something that the horrible writers just threw out there because they don't have even the little bit of creativity that it would take to come up with an ending that rises above being mind numbingly lame. There is no great thought of mystery, intrigue or horror behind the ending. The writing of the ending simply matched the writing of the writing of the rest of the film... incredibly bad and amateurish. Why do you think this film took years to get released? Because it was a well written thriller????

So that scrawny kid murdered an entire group of people? You know, I buy it cuz nothing else about this flick made sense.
