What the hell is this about, anyway? It's got no one famous in it, and has a title like its a *beep* Disney Channel movie. The only saving grace is that its Brandi Engle's first movie and she went to my school and is really really hot, but she play a character named Candy Brown, for Christ's sakes. Anyone else have the same opinion?
its about a girls high school basketball team in the 60's. its a true story, written after a book called Breif Garland. No one famous? Heather M. was in welcome to the dollhouse and princess bride and tons of other movies, chris ellis was in lots of movies including october sky, Bruce Dern has been in lots of movies, Bob Gunton has been in The Perfect Storm and Shawshank Redemption (you get it). I think however, that having many unknowns will make the movie more true. example= in julia roberts movies, when i see her, i see julia roberts playing a character, but when i see an unknown playing a character, its more believable. Anyways, the casting directors are world class so i dont think they would mess anything up.
not to mention Samantha Mathis who has been in numerous things. of course, this was made before Burn Notice premiered on USA Network, but i think quite a few people who see BIM will recognize Jeffrey Donovan (i just saw it for the first time in 2011 on encore).

god neil and chris! its got brandi in it - of COURSE the entire population of mt. lebanon is going to see it. theres probably going to be like 5 billion screenings at the rec center.
Maybe you guys should see the movie before giving it ratings like, "this movie is going to suck" because someone that you allegedly know is in it. As for the plot of the movie, it doesn't sound any different than "Remember The Titans" or any number of "down on their luck/no one believes in me" team that makes good scenarios. If you don't like that theme, then don't bother going to see the movie.
I for one would like to see some intelligent discussion of either the making of this movie or when it's going to be released. Oh and name calling is juvenile no matter what or how it was intended.
Remember the Titans is a very very origional story. As are any of the other "down on their luch./no one believes in me (no pun intended)" movie. Which means this one's GONNA be different.
And, the name calling is between a bunch of people who know each other and are just joking. Unlike you, you god damn outlander.
I knew Brandy and I intend on attending her premiere with mustard smeared all over my ass and her name scrolled across my bloody chest with a rusty nail file. HHHHHAAAAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHHa I HEarT YOu BRANDY!!!!!!!! AND YOUR LITTLE DOG TO!!!!!
thanks chris! i cant wait to shove this movie up your ass when it wins one of those *beep* ass awards. Hope your having a great summer. I saw your dad yesterday.
Has anyone seen Alicia Lagano on the set yet? I think she is very very pretty, and so talented. I just got done watching a movie she was in called "The Truth About Jane" and i thought she was excellent. She co-stared with my fav actress to this date Ellen Muth who played Georgia "George" Lass on the show "Dead Like Me" and Ellen's ex-boyfriend is also in this...Jeffrey Donovan from Touching Evil. Imagine that.
