Akshay Kumar isnt in this movie and neither is Preity Zinta, unless they are guest stars or something, But it is John Abraham that is to play the second husband and not Akshay Kumar(although I wish it were him).

Shooting for "Babul" begins in August. It is to be filmed from August to November/December, Slated for a release in May or June(2006) Amitabh Bachchan has already recorded 3 songs for the album.

This movie is 45% complete, Amitabh will continue shooting, when he gets better. After filming Babul, Amitabh will slip into "God Tussi Great Ho", and "RGv Ka Sholay"

Because of AB's illness the filming of Baabul is delayed about 3 or 4 months. So, the movie will probably release around October or November 2006 and the music 2 months earlier than that.
