No, its not an extra. Actually, its Shreya Saran. She acted in a lot of Telugu and Tamil movies, and one or two of her hindi movies have came out. I think she acted in Awaarapan, too.
What i want to know is, what's up with her popping up in this one song in the movie. Couldn't Rani just have done it, or was she too busy?
They had to use somebody that nobody knows about. How could they use Rani? Weren't you even paying attention at all during the movie?
Since Rani is in the movie, it would make way too much sense for her to be in the opening credits song!!! And that would totally contradict the theme of the movie. As I recall, the theme of the movie was to make as little sense as possible, and putting Rani in the opening song would totally obliterate the director's grand plan.
