No Dead Kennedy's?!?!?

I can't believe they didn't have some input from Jello in this, but however managed to include phil anselmo? Great movie though, don't get me wrong, but that just kind of disappointed me.

There was some kind of money or copy right or legal issue or something! (I cant remember exactly why now> It was addressed on a previous thread somewhere).
that prevented DK from being mentioned.
And meh, I've lost so much respect for Jello, seeing as he always played himself off as 'a man of the people' and then screwed his bandmates out of so much record royalties.

Well, I think it was actually them who were trying to use a DK song for a levis jeans commercial and Jello wouldn't allow that. So, they sued him I believe. Serves them right for being greedy and selling out a DK song to a megacorp, at least Jello won't be doing that if he does have the rights.

I dont know about that. But he (jello) DID rip off his band mates for a ton of cash.
and no i don't have any links but you can find confirmation if you google it i'm sure. I've read it in about 4 diff. books about punk rock history etc.

the irony is that punk was a rebellion against cooperate greed. there was no hero worship , It was not about the money , Look at movie "24 hour party people" thats a pretty good depiction of the mindset of punk

I was coming on here to start this thread as well. I mean DK was HUGE and they actually had some musical talent unlike the majority of hard core bands. It was still very well done and I enjoyed it.
