Mine's Dag Nasty. So awesome.Even better than Minor threat imo.Their best CD is "Can I Say".If you never heard it check it out.

reply

Dag Nasty are good but they aren't as good as Faith, Void, Minor Threat, Youth Brigade, Bad Brains, Black Flag... hang on 80's, Gorilla Biscuits, Youth of Today, Judge, yeah apart from those/them bands. Embrace too.

Whats a mook?

Mook- (a wooden dummy used in kung fu). Word defined as "an ineffectual, foolish, or contemptible person
Out of the bands you mentioned: Dag Nasty, Youth Brigade, Bad Brains, Black Flag (pre-Hank), Minor Threat. I dig the other bands, but not quite as good as those previously mentioned. Actually I hate getting into "this band isn't as good, this one is better". We're talking personal taste and opinion. I feel like a mook suggesting someone's opinion is wrong. So... all of these bands kick ass. I just don't get into some of them as much as others.

Sin 34, the best underrated hc band from the US, they are in the book, but not mentioned in the movie, even when they are struggling to make a connection to female's place in the scene. Why not have Julie in this movie instead of those loser Boston chicks? In fact, why did they ignore the female fronted or female band members in the hardcore scene?

My favorite band since 7th grade (when I used to get beat up all of the time) has been The Adolescents; I have played the blue album so many times it is just a black pulp of wax. My other votes go to Poison Idea , Void, J.F.A., D.R.I., The Big Boys, Minor Threat, Minutemen, Dead Kennedys, Reagan Youth, The Misfits, Neon Christ, Rikk Agnew, D.I., The Meatmen, The Suspects, and early Social Distortion.

I truly hope this film is an independent (and hopefully D.I.Y.) feature. Does anyone know if it is? What production company is it being released under?
