The series

Considering imdb isn't up to date and has no page for the actual show, let's talk about it here?

What did people think of the first few episodes? Do we think it'll stick around? I personally hope it does, I thought it was fantastic! Makes me want to go back to Alice Springs now.

I really like this. I just hope it doesn't beome too whimsical (?spelling) or degenerate into a soapy. The characters are interesting and pleasantly played, and it's good to see indigenous Australians playing mainstream characters (I know it's been done before, but the more times, the better).

I read in the paper that it's struggling for ratings. How this can be said when it's only been on two nights I don't know. If this is the case, then knowing Cannel Nine, it willed be pulled and then stat being stuck on at odd hours without any warning.

Australia has produced better TV shows in the past, but I don't mind this one. There's a pleasant pace about the show. But I do hope they kill off the policeman soon - the storyline revolving around his ex-wife is awful, and all the characters seem to forget that he cheated on her first!! And it would be nice if they gave the two young men - Toby and Michael - something better to do than their weekly misadventures.

Nice to see Erik Thomson and Caitlan McDougall on TV again, though.
