Can we blame the military for a Supernova?

No? Well ok, let's do our best to make them look like villains anyway. How about having the hero escape these thugs after a cruel plot to change his hotel accommodations.

Now what does a Supernova do? Explode? Expand? No, no, that will never do. Let's make it shoot fireballs at Earth whenever we need a break in the improbable human interest parts of the plot. And have them hit big cities ok? Nobody's going to pay to see them fired off from the Sun and fall into the ocean or something. Which ones? I don't know, talk to the special effects guy and figure it out.

Oh, and see if you can get one to go straight from the Sun and hit the house that Peter Fonda is staying in, ok?

Now how do we use up these raver costumes so they don't go to waste?
