Hi,

Dus neone no wen season II of silversun will b aired?

I emailed the ABC and they told me that there wasn't going to be a next season. But they tried to ensure me that they may pick it back up later down the track. But I personally, want to see Tycho when he's still younger.

omgsh, that is so not cool!! I want to know what happens to mara, deegs, zandie, tane, and strega wen they go through that thing!! I hope ABC changes their mind...

I sure hope they'll make another series. Angus was disappointed about there not being one, but we both hope they eventually get around to it.

I think they should make another season two... everyone send letters to the ABC and maybe we'll change their minds.

Done and done... Unfortunately whether there will be a season 2 or not doesn't only depend on popular demand. Other factors like budget could be a problem.

Alrighty guys,
On the Unofficial Silver Sun forum, most of us emailed the ABC and collectively got these results:
- There are no current plans for a second series
- There are no current plans for a DVD, and
- They are waiting to see how well the series does overseas as to wether they will do a second series.

However, we have had word that Silver Sun had top ratings on the ABC - it even beat the Bert Newton show and Kath & Kim, apparently!! GO SILVER SUN!!

A lot of us are hoping, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen at the moment, unfortunately.

According to the ABC, they understand how big Silver Sun's fan base is over here and they're waiting to see how successful the show is overseas before they make a second series and/or release a DVD. We've had word from the ABC and an actor from the show to say that there are no plans at present for a second series or a DVD.

i think it may be too late to make another season, afterall, all the actors are now being seen in other shows, like sheng (ryan corr) is noe in Blue water high (also a great show)...so its a great loss to aussie tv that they aren't continueing with silversun
