What happened to Jeremy Crutchley's character?

Did anyone else think Jeremy Crutchley's character, Cyrus Copeland, just disappeared without explanation. Maybe I missed his death when the bomb went off, but for a character who had been heavily supporting the Homeland Security principal character, he disappeared rather quickly. Do you agree?
